How do we teach for success?
Let’s first define success. Your child has succeeded when they are able to identify a potentially dangerous situation and act accordingly. This will demonstrate that they have been able to link the dojo skills and home skills together thereby achieving a survival mindset. Success is survival.

To provide the best learning environment, instructors use learning strategies children respond best to. The self-protection techniques are based on the principles of simplicity, gross motor skills, and the reduction of techniques.
During each class kids will learn effective and practical strategies to use in various situations should a predator ever grab them. Instructors use specific games and scenarios to teach your child. Conducting scenarios and role-play are effective and innovative learning tools which children enjoy. Scenarios allow instructors to assess your child’s response to any given situation. Games are used to link techniques together thus providing context to the lesson.
